Abstract :
Purchase contract management is an important links of purchasing and supply chain management. This paper discusses two functions of purchasing contract, i.e. management and coordination. Managerial function is through contract to control the operations of the parties to keep the supply chain stable. Coordination function is through risk sharing and benefit allocating mechanism to improve and optimize the supply chain performance.
