Abstract

The variety of subscriptions and CW in Conditional Access System (CAS) of DVB broadcasting network bring complexity to the key distribution scheme. In this paper, an innovation of grouping key distribution scheme for CAS in DVB broadcasting is proposed to reduce the computation of encryption and the number of messages for key refreshment. Compared with the conventional key distribution scheme, our entitlement management message distribution can greatly reduce the EMM data and improve the efficiency of services managing.
