Abstract :
Consulting the promulgation of the IEC61850 standard communication system, it explores the application of WLAN technology in the intelligent substation network, from the technical requirements, 802.11 protocols, implementation steps, combination mode etc. By the calculation of the 1588 check-times message, it expounds application content of the wireless network technology, based on the current intelligent substation hot technology. With the development of research, wireless network technology used in electric power system of communication system is an important supplementary means. It will provide important technical support for construction of smart grid, and even cloud technology.
