Abstract :
Based on an ARM and DSP dual-processor embedded platform, we design a digital video recorder (DVR) which uses PCI bus interface. This paper realizes the development of BSP from scratch, the main achievements are the building of the development environment, the development of Bootloader and OAL, and ultimately compiled the eboot.nb0 and nk.nb0 running on the development board. The design of device driver and application program is introduced. This recorder can encode video streams and transfer them to the host in real time and store to local hard-disk. Thus it is convenient to complete the functions of remote monitoring system.
