Abstract :
A vertically coupled glass microring resonator biosensor is introduced with Q ∼ 12000. Wc demonstrated sensitivity to refractive index change in medium and reproducibility. Theoretical refractive index sensitivity from flow experiments is determined to be 2×10-5.
