Abstract :
It is well know that microwave fading channel is a complicated channel. This channel may cause inter-symbol interference(ISI) ,channel equalization is a good way to deal with ISI. Taking advantage of the achievements of past researchers. We combine them into a novel improved max-log-map turbo equalization method. The simulation results based on a given microwave fading channel show that the improved max-log-map equalization algorithm gets about 1 dB coding-gain compared with max-log-map equalization algorithm when BER is 10-4, It effectively improves the reliability of microwave communication system.
