Abstract
The Experimental Mobile Satellite System (EMSS) program using Engineering Test Satellite-V (ETS-V) is in progress in Japan. The authors outline NTT´s experiments in the EMSS program. The configuration and performance of the experimental mobile satellite communication system, and its preliminary results are described
