Abstract :
We demonstrate a novel, hybrid integrated, all-optical SOA-MZI regenerator incorporating separately optimised linear and nonlinear SOAs, on-chip time delays and low loss WDM wavelength combiners. 40Gb/s wavelength conversion is demonstrated using linear SOAs to control the input data powers.
