Abstract :
In this paper, the Mallat algorithm of wavelet transformation is adopted to determine the deflection point of the temperature curve in the dew-point auto-detection instruments. By this method, the useful signal can be effectively extracted out of intensive background noise, and highly repeatable value of the deflection point can be obtained in only 3-5 measurements. Compared with the traditional method, the approach introduced in this paper can considerably reduce the testing time and increase the accuracy & stableness greatly during dew-point auto-detection measurements.
