Abstract :
ScanSAR data have non-stationary spectral properties. An efficient, phase-preserving azimuth focusing technique is introduced. ScanSAR interferometry is then studied: a misalignment in the scanning cycles of repeated surveys causes a decorrelation that is also slope-dependent. Yet, most of this decorrelation can be removed by means of a proper space-variant filtering. Results got by simulating ScanSAR by using ERS-1 raw data are shown
