Abstract :
In fisheries industry, sampling of fish length is the main criteria to identify fish reproduction, recruitment, growth and mortality. Current sampling measuring process to identify fish length was done manually using traditional equipment. This process took a lot of time and cost overflowing. Therefore, in this paper, we will discuss the details of the D´FishLen Framework by using Hsiu´s method for measuring the length of a fish automatically using image processing approach integrated with optical formulation to solve these problems. The accuracy of measuring the fish length was 99.11%.
