Abstract :
We experimentally demonstrated a novel radio-over-fiber scheme to provide 2.5Gbit/s symmetric full-duplex services based on optical carrier suppression for downlink and reuse for uplink. It was successfully transmitted bi-diretionally over 40km SMF-28 with ≪2dB power penalty.
