Abstract :
This paper presents a real-time sound source localization system based on switched capacitor networks and logic circuits. The system employs three microphones at different locations. Low pass filter circuits, noise reduction circuits and valid speech detecting circuits are implemented with dpASP(dynamically programmable Analog Signal Processor). A data latching array is constructed to record the order of the wavefront of sound signal. A decoder circuit designed output the sound source direction according to the state of the data latching array. The proposed system can output sound source direction in real-time with low power.
