Abstract :
The study of electrocardiograph signals (ECG) in the time or in the frequency domain taken separately doesn´t allow the detection of arrhythmia and late potentials. But, the study of ECG in the time/frequency domain gives to the physician more information and provides him with a tool for diagnosis specially for cardiac late potential. For nongaussian signal, the application of second order statistic remains inefficient. In this communication, we show that the application of the second and third order Wigner-Ville transformation for ECG signals can be applied for the detection of cardiac late potentials
