Abstract
Aerosol cans have evolved into a more reliable and effective product, but they must meet the requirements of the Food and Drug Administration. The Research and Development Laboratory at Hoffman-La Roche conducts the necessary tests on these drugs. The shot weight test and the dose uniformity test are some of the many tests performed on these products, but the tests are very tedious and repetitive. An automated system is described that will simplify the tests. The different stations of the automated system were tested and the results were found to be satisfactory
