Abstract :
The philosophy and approach for calibrating the NSCAT Ku-band radar are described. The NSCAT radar is designed to measure global ocean surface winds speeds and directions at 50 km resolution. Pre-launch calibration test results and plans for the post-launch calibration campaign are presented
