Abstract :
We experimentally demonstrate a WDM PON upstream transmission system using our proposed, depolarised, high power (~500 mW), CW supercontinuum with a spectral bandwidth of ~130 nm as an injection source for Fabry-Pérot laser diodes. Using the system error-free 25 km transmission is achieved at 1.25 Gbit/s.
