Abstract
This paper presents a genetic tuning digital PI controller for the sensorless speed vector control of induction motor drive system. In order to prevent premature convergence we introduce the allied strategy of human beings into GAs, and present a parallel genetic algorithm based on the allied strategy (PGAAS). Based on the designed control system the system is simulated. The simulation results show that the system is strongly robust to the parameter variation and is insensitive to the load disturbance
