  • Abstract
    The purpose of the present study was to explore the characteristics and the effects of interpersonal interaction based on network among college students. The development of internet facilitates the deep change of college students in all aspects, especially in the interpersonal interaction. Based on the definition of the network interpersonal interaction, the current paper summarized the characteristics of network communication among college students, involving virtuality, anonymity, freeness, openness and equality. College students´ network communications have significant influences on the life, mental health, and real interaction of college students. At last, strategies that promoted college students´ network interpersonal interaction were discussed, including strengthening the instruction and guidance, enriching life at campus, intensifying network administration, and stressing education of network mental health.
