Abstract :
A multiple beamformer allows the receiver to be steered independently to more than one source. For this purpose the complete interaction of the different sources has to be considered. Such a technique will in general be based on the maximum likelihood parameter estimation method to ensure optimal performance. In this paper the analysis of a multiple beamformer is presented and discussed. The concept of this beamformer enables coherent processing not only in space but also in time.
