Abstract :
Image registration is becoming a very important issue in the processing of large databases of multi-sensor, multi-resolution remote sensing data. The authors propose an algorithm which provides a fast method to register data automatically, and which will be able to handle data with very different resolutions. This paper describes the algorithm and presents some results applied to Landsat-TM and AVHRR imagery
