Abstract :
MB-OFDM UWB technology has attracted much attention in high speed wireless communications. A UWB communication system with channel coding is noticing for avoiding the performance degradation due to adverse channel propagation conditions. In this paper, we propose a novel Euclidean Geometry low-density parity-check (LDPC) coding scheme for MB-OFDM UWB systems. We emphasized on the construction of Euclidean geometry LDPC code and the model of the UWB communication system. Also we simulated this novel system with computer software and compared the performance with convolution coded UWB system. From our analysis and numerical results, we find this LDPC coded scheme outperforms the convolution coded scheme.
