Abstract :
We demonstrate error-free wavelength conversion near a = 1550nm at 10Gb/s based on cross-phase modulation in single mode As2Se3 chalcogenide glass fibre. We achieve 1.4dB excess system penalty with 2.1W average peak pump power in 1m of fibre over a 10nm range.
