Abstract
We discuss a simple piecewise linear hysteresis chaos generator. Deriving the return map rigorously, we give a sufficient condition for chaos generation and clarify some novel bifurcation phenomena. We also give a control method that stabilizes desired unstable periodic orbit in chaos. Also, some laboratory data are demonstrated. Some of these results are developed versions of our previous works which focus on narrower parameter range
