Abstract
The Advanced Aircrew Oxygen Delivery System (AAODS) program, a computerized mathematical model for dynamically simulating the performance of oxygen delivery systems, is discussed. The program generates estimates of respiratory parameters, the pressure, density, and velocity associated with grid points on a hose, the pressure in a face mask, and the pressure and density maintained by a breathing regulator. The mathematical modeling of the respiratory, face-mask, hose and regulator modules are described and the implementation of the models is summarized
