  • Abstract
    The principle of Pockels effect optical voltage sensor has been introduced. Review of some optical voltage transducer based on Pockels electro-optic effect has been presented, and their disadvantages have been pointed out, else. A voltage transducer with capacitive divider has been designed based on Pockels effect. The results of type test show that it can be used as the electronic voltage transducer for measurement in level 0.2 and protection in level 3P, according to the IEC60044-7 standards.
