Abstract :
This paper describes the composition of dynamic shape control system in hot strip mills and its three functions including shape maintenancee, crown feedback control, flatness feedback control. A coupling model of rolling force and roll-bending force, a crown feedback control model and a flatness feedback control model based on digital PID controller are built and then online programming and debugging are completed. So far the dynamic shape control system is applied in many domestic hot wide strip lines. A lot of production data statistics indicates, after applying the dynamic shape control system, the hit rate of crown and flatness in Angang 2150mm hot strip mill are steadily over 97% and 96% respectively.
