Abstract :
This paper presents a novel approach for designing the portable wireless ECG monitoring terminal for use in mobile application in a personal healthcare scenario. For portable application purposes, an ultra-low power 16-bit micro controller acts as the core unit of the terminal. The ECG signal measurement module, storage module and Bluetooth wireless communication module are assembled to construct the monitoring terminal. The terminal can work in several ways, including real-time sending, in-time sending and warning sending etc. Working together with mobile phone integrated Bluetooth module, the ECG terminal can be easily used to achieve 24 hours of continuous dynamic monitoring of ECG in home healthcare.
