Abstract

Last year at this event, PBB-TE (then PBT) was new; this contribution will therefore open with a brief review of progress since then, in terms of standardisation, multi-vendor interoperability testing, and deployment. We will then consider what other connectivity models can be created by extending the PBB-TE paradigm, and placing Ethernet forwarding hardware under non-bridging control capabilities.
