Abstract :
In recent years, the nonlinear analysis of electrocardiogram (ECG) signals using multifractal theory has been proved to be effective. In order to further study the sensitivity of the multifractal analysis in distinction between normal and pathological ECG signals, drugs experiments were conducted on mice. Mice received various drugs to imitate different physiological and pathological conditions, and the distributions of mass exponent spectrum curvature with different down sampling scale factors from the ECG signals of healthy and drug injected mice were calculated. The results show that there is a certain range of sensitive frequency in the curve of mass exponent spectrum curvature versus scale factors from the multiscale multifractal analysis results on mice ECG signals. In this range, nonlinear parameters from multifractal analysis are most sensitive to distinguish various physiological and pathological states, and the results are consistent with normal physiological explanation.
