Abstract :
We propose an optical buffer memory using a single-flux-quantum (SFQ) circuit for the optical packet switch. Optical interfaces are required for exploiting a high-speed response of SFQ. We fabricated and characterized a metal-semiconductor-metal photo-detector as an input interface.
