  • Abstract
    Using the nonlinear transfer function of pump-modulated four-wave mixing in a SOA, amplitude noise reduction for NRZ-DPSK signal is demonstrated. The 10 Gb/s BER measurement shows a power penalty improvement of 7 dB.
