Abstract :
A widely tunable laser monolithically integrated with a multi-channel grating cavity laser spaced by 6.2 nm and an electrically controlled beam deflector for a tuning between two adjacent channels is presented. Wavelength tuning of 48 nm with a SMSR ≫ 30 dB has been demonstrated.
