Abstract :
This paper deals with numerical modelling of ultra wide band electromagnetic diffraction and also with some aspects of signal processing of such signals. After presenting the code that the authors use to generate such signals with enough accuracy to stress the characteristic features of a given scatterer, they present some impulse responses and data processing of cylindrical objects first in free space and then when embedded in a dielectric medium, lossy or not
