Abstract :
In this paper we describe the recent progress in the development of a high performance fiber based frequency distribution system for metrology applications. The fiber link operates at 100 MHz and 1 GHz and uses a standard telecom fiber of the Paris metropolitan network to disseminate the LNE-SYRTE frequency references over 44 km to the Laboratoire de Physique des Laser (LPL). Preliminary results of a 88 km compensated optical link is also presented.
