Abstract :
An all-optical, integrable, ultra-fast 2×2 spatial switch based on Cross-Gain-Modulation in two Semiconductor Optical Amplifiers is proposed. Bit-Error-Rate measurements confirm the effectiveness of the proposed scheme and its suitability in cascaded configurations.
