Abstract
A method for ultra wide band (UWB) signal A/D conversion and reconstruction of signal waveform is introduced. Its basic idea is to decompose a signal into several contiguous frequency bands so that a specific subconverter can be assigned to each band signal. The converted subband signal is then reconstructed by a quadrature mirror filter (QMF) bank. Simulation results prove the good performance of this arrangement
