Abstract :
We demonstrated for the first time an OOK-NRZ 42.7 Gbit/s WDM system with 0.8 bit/s/Hz spectral efficiency without polarization multiplexing using a single multichannel optical equalizer and optical filters designed for 10 Gb/s WDM systems.
