  • Abstract
The tire laser shearing speckle interferogram is the object analyzed in nondestructive laser test of tire. The actual demand is that extracting the characteristic of defects from the tire laser shearing speckle interferogram which has a large number of high-frequency speckle noises. Thus the main aim is to denoise the image and remain the inside edges. This kind of image has itself particularity compared with common ones. Thus common filters are not effective for the particular image. A kind of filtering method based on wavelet analysis is raised to resolve above problem. At first, use homomorphic filter to change the type of noises. And then use the principle of wavelet to decompose and denoise the image. At last reconstruct image. Through experiments, it is proved that this kind of wavelet denoising method can remove noises and remain characteristic of image at the same time, which meets the actual demands.
