Abstract :
In this work, the idempotent generator of cyclic codes over R=Fp + uFp + ⋯ + uk-1Fp are studied. Namely, the idempotent of cyclic codes over R and that of their dual are derived. In addition, an idempotent-induced generator for cyclic codes over R is obtained.
