Abstract
Presents the results of research designed to create a new type of communications, intersatellite optical communication lines (IOCL). In space the propagation media is a vacuum, so it is possible to use the optical band for intersatellite information transmission. The very short wavelength allows one to obtain ultra-narrow light beams (several angle seconds) and to support high speed duplex information transmission at huge distances (<100000 km) with a level of high security
