Abstract :
During the research the effect of coagulation of biological tissues was investigated, caused by pulse SSL and CW semiconductor laser illumination (λ = 1000 nm). The state and temperature of soft biological tissues exposed to laser radiation was observed in real time, using thermographic and optical methods. The temperature changes, including maximal values, were evaluated by analyzing recorded thermal image. The measured scattered radiation of diagnostic laser (λ = 635 nm) was used to assess the tissue condition during the laser welding process. Exemplary results of the laboratory research on these methods and an interpretation of the results are presented.
