Study on the knowledge network and innovation mechanism of incubators

As an innovation mechanism,incubators promote the development of small and medium enterprises greatly. In this paper, a knowledge network framework is set up from the system point of view, which takes professional business incubator as center, and effectively links enterprises, government, universities, research institutions, and intermediaries. Then a model is made to simulate the evolving process of the incubator knowledge network,and the innovation mechanism of network is analyzed. According to the model, the innovation ability of the incubation network is affected on several factors including incubator scale, the degree of knowledge change between the incubator and external environment, and knowledge gaps.
