Abstract
Our work concerns the study of the influence of the no uniformity distribution pollution of insulators surface on flashover probability and probability of occurrence of an earth-fault in a high voltage line. Initially, we presented the method which makes it possible to calculate the contamination flashover probability and the earth-fault probability including the effect of the no uniformity of pollution distribution. The results of calculations show that flashover voltage and flashover probability of insulators with no-uniform pollution distribution is more critical than the case of uniform pollution. Also, the earth-fault probability is not influenced especially by no-uniformity of pollution.
