Abstract :
The eletrophosphorescence properties of a neutral dimeric cyclometalated iridium complex, [{Ir(μ-SCN)(pqcm)2}2], was reported. With the device structures of ITO/PEDOT:PSS(40 nm)/PVK(70):PBD(30):Ir complex(0.5-2)(70 nm)/TPBI(30 nm)/CsF(1.5 nm)/Al(120 nm), the polymer organic light-emitting devices based on the new Ir(III) complex exhibit a peak electrophosphorescence wavelength of 655 nm. Its maximum external quantum efficiency is 12.2% and the maximum luminance efficiency is 4.1 Cd A-1. The turn-on voltage is 6.1 V with the Commission Internationale de L´Eclairage (CIE) coordinates of (0.66, 0.30).
