  • Abstract
A research approach is described along with the assessment of data being used in refining US Army operational test and evaluation (OT&E) methodologies for test measurement and diagnostic equipment and supporting diagnostic capabilities (TMDE+). The author views TMDE+ as a fault detection/isolation/location system (FDILS) totally integrated within a weapon system. The continuous comprehensive evaluation (C2E) strategy is emphasized and a description of the implementation of an FDILS OT&E methodology within C2E is provided. The potential benefits are highlighted
