Abstract
In order to evaluate impact of port development on regional economy, this paper adopted fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, and established an evaluation index system which includes four main criteria: total economic output, industrial structure, relevant industries and environment. The findings reveal both positive and negative impacts of port development on regional economy.
