Abstract :
This paper presents a general method for signal coding and its applications based on the symbolic sequence: chaotic coding based on symbolic sequence (CCBSS). Theoretical analysis and typical simulation results are presented to show that the symbolic dynamics-based coding is potentially attractive in many engineering contexts. A novel method based on CCBSS, which is used for A/D with high precision resolution speed and robustness, is derived and discussed in this paper
