Abstract :
Current research about electronic portfolio of ESL class in China stays with the learner´s feedback in related to specific English language skills. This paper presents a new perspective as to how and to what extent the teacher guide the student´s portfolio construction in ESL class in the first stage. It proposes the ISD model in which the teacher follows the step-by-step instruction in effective instruction of portfolio development in the larger context of various ESL classes in China.
