  • Abstract
    The paper applied PSO (particle swarm optimization) Algorithm to AGC (automatic generation control) Strategy in interconnected power grid in the CPS (Control Performance Standard) standard. Firstly, analyze PSO, ACE (area controlling error) and CPS. Secondly, apply PSO Algorithm to AGC Strategy. The simulations on the practical power grid have shown that this control strategy is promising due to reducing the number of order effectively, improving the AGC performance, and the guarantees of the frequency quality and the safety operation in power system.
